It has been quite the 6 weeks. Last time I wrote how calm and easy Braden was...well, that was a honeymoon. Over the last month and a half I have learned quite a bit about our fourth child and easy and content are NOT words I would use to describe him anymore; it's more like high-maintenance and crabby. He has a very sensitive stomach ( I think ) which translates into he cries a lot. He does love to eat and for the first three weeks I was feeding him every hour on both sides (I'm not exaggerating). I don't think I got out of the rocking chair much at all during that time. He has at least 10 dirty diapers a day and he doesn't like it in his diaper (I don't blame him) so I'm changing him all the time too. He likes to be around people and he likes to be held. So we've all adjusted somewhat to the fact that Braden is rarely happy and that he cries all the time. The one positive I can say about him is that he sleeps good at night. I get at least a 5 hour stretch from 11/12pm to 5/6 am...that is the one thing that is keeping me from losing my mind. He is a cute boy though and the first time he smiled, I cried. Here are some pictures from those rare happy moments so you can all be jealous that my baby is so dang cute. (And no, these are not pictures of Ethan, though the two could be mistaken for twins at this age).

Oh Jamie, I'm sorry he is so fussy. He is absolutely adorable! Love all the hair!
You have such stinkin cute kids!
Good thing they are all cute or it would be too hard!!! I'm coming to see you so I will take care of him and cuddle and love him and you can go take a NAP! Seriously can't wait to get my squishies in :) I've had two colicky kids and it is NO fun. I lost 80% of my hair and 50% of it is grey. When my kids ask why I look like I'm 95 I'll say it's because of them haha
Oh Jamie, I am so sorry. That stinks, big time. BUT, you've gotta know it's not forever. I remember PIli's last one cried forever, and she's a gem now! :)
