Biting the Bullet
As much as I hate making this public and saying it out loud, I've made a goal for myself to lose 25 lbs. in the next coming months. That's right everyone, it's time for me to get the pregnancy weight off. So, I've committed to myself that I will exercise 5 times a week for at least an hour (including weighlifting) and will not be eating any sweets (except for one day a week) and watching portion sizes at mealtime. (Anya, I could use any suggestions for improvement or faster results). Now that I've said (typed) it you can all help to be my conscience. Ask me how I'm doing and help keep me motivated. Last time I dropped my pregnancy weight my sister in law, Jami, and I did it together and it helped me to stay motivated. This is a sensetive topic with me and it shouldn't be and I think talking to everyone else about it will help. Does anyone else have great ideas to get the weight off...I'm open to suggestions! So far, after a good workout yesterday, my body aches and my stomach thinks I'm hungry...a great start to a long journey!:)

I wish I could give the the magic word to make it come off faster. Slow and steady is the healthiest and the best way to keep it off. My only piece of advice...If you have a craving, just eat it. You'll eat way more trying to mask the craving and then you'll eventually cave in and eat more than you would have in the first place. Good Luck!
I love Anya's advice. Oh - and you've inspired me. Seriously. I think we should do this together and have a prize at the end. What's our start and end date? I"m going to work out TONIGHT for pretty much the first time. I'm really excited and nervous. I'm so out of shape. Call me.
I'm with you 100%. My goal is to lose 30 by my birthday in October. My husband to. If we accommplish it our reward is an Alaskan cruise.
Good luck to both of us.
My advise would be to keep a food journal and an exercise log to help keep yourself accountable, and to motivate you when you see how much you have done and how far you've come.
